Job Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering events from planning through execution. This role works closely with internal teams, vendors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure events are organized, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with established objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events, meetings, conferences, activations, and other programs.
- Develop event schedules, checklists, timelines, and logistical plans.
- Coordinate with venues, suppliers, contractors, speakers, and other partners.
- Assist with event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and expense tracking.
- Manage event registrations, guest requirements, materials, and on-site logistics.
- Coordinate set-up, event operations, and breakdown activities.
- Communicate event requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor event progress and proactively address issues or changes.
- Support the development of event concepts, presentations, and proposals.
- Conduct post-event reviews and provide feedback for future improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in event planning, coordination, hospitality, or a related environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
